Since February 2022, Dr. Christian Dahlheim has been the CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. From October 2018 to January 2022 Dr. Dahlheim led the Sales function of Volkswagen Group. Dr. Dahlheim started in 2005 as Head of Corporate Development at Volkswagen Financial Services. Between 2008 and 2012, he was responsible for the Financial Services business in European and selected global markets as Head of Region Europe & International. Dr. Dahlheim became Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of VW Credit Inc. in the US in 2012. In 2014 he became President and CEO of the North-American Financial Services business of Volkswagen Group. From 2016 to 2018 he was a member of the Board of Volkswagen Financial Services AG, responsible for Sales and Marketing. Dr. Dahlheim holds a diploma in physics and achieved his Ph.D. at the European Business School in the area of Business Administration and Management.
